This is a project I have wanted to do for a very long time. I gathered together 10 of my closest and most talented friends (and one relative) to contribute 500 words to a story I had begun.
This is how it works:
I wrote a 500 word introduction.
I emailed it to the first contributor. They had 3 days to add the next 500 words and email it back to me. Without reading it, I sent it to the next person on the list. They in turn had 3 days to write 500 words, and so on down the line. When the last person is done, I will do a bit of editing and post the final draft here, for all to read.
As of today (January 30, 2009), 6 people have finished and we have 4 people left. I will keep everyone updated until the story is posted.
